FOR SALE * * * * Town Car # 9045

Brewster town Car # 9045 has had 3 owners and is in good running condition.  This car has been lovingly restored and is mechanically original.  The upholstery, chrome, paint and roofing have all been redone.  The car is ready to show.  The owners, however, are past retirement age and would like to pass it on to someone who would like to show it off.  The car is located in South Central New York state. For details and additional photos contact the owners at SPetersLuv@aol.com

FOR SALE * * * * 7 PASSENGER ENCLOSED DRIVE LIMOUSINE # 9018

Car # 9018 has had an interesting history in that it was sold new to Mrs. Violet W. Crane on September 13, 1934. At the time of the original sale it was mounted on Ford V8 Chassis #18-573320. In November 1936 Brewster bought the car from Jacod (this name appears in many of the original records so he was evidently a dealer that was well known by the Brewster organization). Brewster then sold this body to Mrs. A. F. Bemis. Mrs Bemis had it mounted on a 1925, Twenty HP Rolls-Royce chassis #GSK-41. RR records show that this chassis was built in England. It was fitted with a Cabriolet body by Kelner and sent to Paris to be sold to M. F. Mastbaum. Brewster records show that the chassis was purchased from E. W. Mastbaum in December of 1936 and in turn was sold to Mrs. Bemis with Brewster body # 9018 mounted. It is easy to see that the Ford style Brewster body is completely in tact from the cowl back. This type of re-chassis work was done on a regular basis by Brewster under the management of John S. Inskip.

This car is presently for sale. It is located in Florida. The owner can be contacted at me@opca.us or 321 634 6806

FOR SALE * * * * TOWN CAR # 9105

This car has the original mechanical, vacuum power braking system. It also has a 21 stud LB Ford flathead with aluminum heads. The starter, carb, distributor, water pumps, coil, have been re-built.  The exhaust is new, along with porcelain manifolds with new exhaust, and all new engine hardware and hoses.  It was sold new to Ms. Harriet H. Hansell of Philadelphia, PA on April 25, 1935 from Norristown Ford, a Philadelphia suburb, although it has a 1936 NJ title.  Ms. Hansell's initials are still on the rear doors, and I have a copy of "Who's Who in Philadelphia 1935" where she is listed.

The cane work is perfect and all original, along with an original picnic basket, accessory rear compartment lambs wool throw rug, one jump seat, most of the original tools with pouch, a sterling whisk broom.  The odometer does not work, 55,000 miles.  I run/start it regularly, needs very little to be in the winner's circle.  I also have an original piece of factory-new literature.

Price - $145K.
